The CRPD also requires States Parties to take appropriate measures to ensure accessibility to physical, informational, and communication environments, as well as access to justice and legal protection. It encourages the development and promotion of assistive technologies and services that enable persons with disabilities to fully participate in society.
Furthermore, the CRPD establishes a framework for international cooperation to facilitate the exchange of best practices, knowledge, and technical assistance in order to enhance the inclusion and empowerment of individuals with disabilities globally.
